What fun to be part of the release of a new product line by Altenew! When I saw this stamp, I just didn't have the heart to break it up, so a slimline card was in the offing. And here's what resulted:
There's nothing particularly difficult about how I made this card. I simply stamped the full image onto Neenah 110# Solar White card stock using VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed withgold embossing powder. I used the stencils to color it I - they were pretty easy to line up and result in a lovely, dimensional image. A wee bit of shading here and there to give depth to the branch and leaves and - voila! A magnificent branch! I then gently ink blended hues of blue and green for the "sky" around the edges. And a few gemstones in a pool color complete the image.
For the floral images, I used Altenew Crisp dye ink in the colors Crimson, Coral Bliss and Blush. The other colors are from Hero Arts and Distress Oxides.
I love the sentiments in this set. I think they are very positive and encouraging - just what we all need right about now!
